Role Overview
As a Trained Product Specialist for RYDE, you will play a crucial role in promoting and selling products of a mid-sized, market-leading Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) client. This full-time position requires daily travel to approximately 20 retail stores across San Antonio, making you the face of the brand and the driving force behind its in-store visibility and sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct daily visits to ~20 retail stores with brief engagements (15-20 minutes each)
- Set up and maintain promotional materials (POSM/Displays)
- Present, promote, and sell products and promotions to store managers
- Assist with inventory tracking and re-ordering of products
- Foster strong relationships with store staff to drive engagement and sales
- Execute promotional campaigns and achieve brand display objectives
- Educate store teams on brand messaging and product knowledge
- Utilize mobile tools to track visits and performance
- Act as a passionate brand ambassador in the field

Requirements
- • 1+ year experience in sales, merchandising, or brand promotions (B2B or B2C)
- • Strong selling and up-selling abilities with excellent negotiation skills
- • Post-secondary education preferred (Marketing, Business, Communications)
- • Experience with grocery and retail chains is a strong asset
- • Tech-savvy - comfortable using digital tools, apps, and tablets
- • Professional verbal and written communication skills in English
- • Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently
- • Ability to carry light promotional materials (under 10 lbs)
- • Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record & a reliable vehicle
