About This Role
FLEX-ROC by T-ROC is seeking an energetic and outgoing Event Sales Specialist to represent exciting consumer brands, like Jackery, at special 10-day roadshows within major retailers such as Costco, Sam's Club, and BJ's.
This is a short-term, high-impact project-based role perfect for individuals seeking flexible work with potential for ongoing assignments. There may be downtime between events, depending on scheduling and brand needs.
Compensation: $23/hr + overtime (W2 Opportunity)
Event Dates: 11/7 - 11/16 (10 Days)
- Monday - Friday: 9:00 AM - 8:30 PM
- Saturday - Sunday: 9:00 AM - 6:30 PM
Responsibilities:
- Set up designated displays, kiosks, or demo stations within retail stores.
- Arrange products attractively and ensure all promotional materials, signage, and samples are properly displayed.
- Engage customers in a friendly and inviting manner to promote and sell products.
- Provide compelling product demonstrations and explain key features and benefits.
- Support sales and marketing initiatives with additional tasks as needed.
- Utilize company-required apps and digital tools, including Vision App, for timekeeping and sales reporting.
- Accurately log sales activity, customer engagement, and inventory usage in real-time using designated mobile applications or reporting tools.
- Adhere to all store-specific and T-ROC safety, conduct, and hygiene protocols, including proper handling of promotional materials and displays.
- Monitor, transport, and maintain promotional inventory, ensuring items are secure, clean, and replenished for each event.
Requirements:
- High School diploma or relevant work experience preferred.
- Must possess a valid driver's license.
- Ability to pass a motor vehicle record (MVR) check.
- Maintain auto insurance that meets T-ROC's minimum coverage requirements.
