About This Role
We are seeking a confident, organized, and outgoing Team Lead to oversee our Signal People Street Team for a two-day pedestrian safety awareness campaign. This is a hands-on leadership role that blends street team engagement with the responsibility of keeping the campaign on track.
As the Team Lead, you will wear the Signal People costume alongside your team, while also managing logistics, coordinating staff, capturing photos, and serving as the direct point of contact for the client. You will oversee the activation from start to finish, including picking up and returning equipment, coordinating meeting spots, and directing staff on their routes. You'll walk with the team, ensuring they are striking poses, engaging with the public, and staying on task. Furthermore, you will troubleshoot any issues that arise, track impressions, and take photos of the team in action, all while actively participating in the campaign as a Signal Person.
- Pay: $32.00/hr
Responsibilities:
- Leadership & Oversight
- Walk with the street team and ensure all staff are performing their duties effectively, striking poses, and engaging with the public.
- Provide direction, motivation, and support throughout the activation.
- Troubleshoot any on-site challenges and make quick, confident decisions.
- Client Communication & Reporting
- Act as the direct point of contact for the client, relaying updates and ensuring their expectations are met.
Schedule:
- October 6: TBD - Material pick up at client's office.
- October 7, 2025:
- 7:00 AM - 11:00 AM: Baltimore National Pike at St. Agnes Lane, Baltimore County
- 12:30 PM - 4:30 PM: 8100 block of Maple Lawn Blvd in Howard County
- October 8, 2025:
- 7:30 AM - 11:30 AM: Severna Park Elementary - 6 Riggs Ave, Severna Park, MD 21146
- 1:30 PM - 5:30 PM: Orleans & Wolfe in Baltimore City
- October 9: TBD - Material drop off at client's office.
