Dr. Silkman's, a NYC brand specializing in natural home, lifestyle, and body care items, including our original body lotion candle, is seeking dynamic individuals to join our team for the holiday season.
We are specifically looking for Brand Ambassadors to work at our spirited Holiday Shops during November and December at the Snowport Holiday Market. Opportunities are also available in NYC, Washington D.C., and Chicago. Our brand embodies warmth, helpfulness, and quality. If you possess these characteristics and can effortlessly connect with diverse people, this seasonal opportunity will be highly rewarding.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform sales and customer service tasks, including greeting customers, guiding them through our product line, and providing product benefits and usage information.
- Manage a cash drawer and operate a POS system.
Maintain inventory.
- Ensure the shops are clean, inviting, and eye-catching.
- Adhere to company policies and our code of conduct.
- Be on time for all shifts.
Who We Are Looking For:
- Individuals motivated by sales targets and performance-based bonuses.
- Comfortable engaging with shoppers and demonstrating products.
- Enthusiastic about being part of a great team.
- Must have open availability, especially during the weeks of Thanksgiving and Christmas.
- Prior experience selling in a very busy environment is preferred, but not required.
Compensation includes both an hourly rate and opportunities for an end-of-season performance bonus. Training is paid.
