About This Role
Are you energetic, reliable, positive, and passionate about quality handmade products? Dr. Silkman's, a NYC brand crafting natural home, lifestyle, and body care items, including the original body lotion candle, is seeking a Holiday Shops Manager and Team Members to join our spirited team for the holiday season!
We are hiring for November and December positions at the Downtown D.C. Holiday Market. We also have opportunities in NYC, Boston, and Chicago. Our brand values warmth, helpfulness, and high-quality. If you embody these characteristics and can effortlessly connect with diverse people, this seasonal role will be incredibly rewarding.
What You'll Do:
- Perform sales and customer service tasks, including greeting customers, guiding them through our product line, and providing product benefits and usage information.
- Manage a cash drawer and operate a POS system.
- Handle inventory management.
- Maintain a clean, inviting, and eye-catching shop appearance.
- Adhere to company policies and our code of conduct with both customers and teammates.
- Be on time for all shifts.
Who We're Looking For:
- Motivated by sales targets and performance-based bonuses.
- Comfortable engaging with shoppers and demonstrating products.
- Enjoys a fun work environment as part of a great team.
- Open availability is ideal, and you must be able to work shifts during the weeks of Thanksgiving & Christmas.
- Previous experience selling in a busy environment is preferred, but not required.
Compensation includes a competitive hourly rate and opportunities for an end-of-season bonus. Training is also paid.
