Dr. Silkman's is a NYC brand renowned for crafting natural home, lifestyle, and body care items, including our original body lotion candle – a unique candle that melts into a nourishing body lotion. We are seeking experienced managers and staff to work at our spirited Holiday Shops. For November and December, we are staffing for the Snowport Holiday Market, with additional opportunities available in NYC, Washington D.C., and Chicago.

What You'll Do:

  • Execute sales and customer service tasks, including greeting customers, guiding them through our product line, and providing product benefits and usage information.
  • Manage a cash drawer and efficiently operate a POS system.
  • Oversee inventory management.
  • Maintain a clean, inviting, and eye-catching store environment.
  • Adhere to company policies and our code of conduct with both customers and teammates.
  • Be punctual for all shifts.

Who YOU Are:

  • Motivated by sales targets and performance-based bonuses.
  • Comfortable engaging with shoppers and demonstrating products.
  • Eager to have fun at work and contribute to a great team!
  • Open availability is ideal, and you must be able to work shifts during the weeks of Thanksgiving & Christmas.
  • Prior experience selling in a very busy environment is preferred, but not required.

Compensation includes both an hourly rate and opportunities for an end-of-season performance bonus. Training is paid.

This opportunity is ideal for individuals with experience in retail sales, customer service, or performers such as actors, comedians, and musicians, as it requires impromptu communication, confidence, and a desire to engage with people. However, we encourage all outgoing individuals with a passion for connecting with others to apply!
