Kroger Mascot Character Appearances

Are you an energetic, enthusiastic, and charismatic individual who loves entertaining people? We are seeking fun, reliable performers to bring our costume characters and mascots to life throughout the year for various Kroger events.

As a Mascot/Costume Character, you will play a crucial role in creating magical experiences for people of all ages at events, parades, parties, and promotional appearances. This position requires individuals who can maintain high energy and enthusiasm while interacting with guests and adhering to event guidelines.

Responsibilities:

• Perform as costume characters or mascots for various events and activities.
• Interact with children, families, and guests, creating a positive and fun atmosphere.
• Follow event guidelines and ensure safety while in costume.
• Participate in scheduled rehearsals or briefings to prepare for events.
• Maintain high energy and enthusiasm throughout the duration of performances.
• Work effectively with event staff, clients, and other performers to ensure smooth event operations.
• Endure long periods inside the costume, sometimes up to several hours, while maintaining positive energy and performance quality.

Qualifications:

• Must be between 5'2" and 6'0" in height, with an average build to fit into costumes comfortably.
• Ability to work in a variety of weather conditions (indoor and outdoor events).
• Ability to remain inside the costume for extended periods while maintaining high energy levels.
• Strong communication skills, especially through non-verbal cues.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team.
• Flexible schedule with availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Possess a positive attitude and a passion for entertaining.

• Mascot Paul: Height requirements: 5’9’’ - 6’1''; Build requirements: Average build.
• Mascot Emma Jean: Height requirements: 5’2’’ - 5’6''; Build requirements: Average build.
• Mascot Danielle: Height requirements: 5’6’’ - 5’10''; Build requirements: Thin build - max 32’’ waist.
• Mascot Darienne: Height requirements: 5’4’’ - 5’8''; Build requirements: Thin build - max 32’’ waist.
