ANA Comic Con Activation

AGAR, a vibrant Cincinnati-based experiential marketing company, is seeking 8 high-energy Brand Ambassadors to represent one of our dynamic clients at the New York Comic Con Expo! If you’re passionate about comics, anime, cosplay, video games, and all things pop culture — this is your time to shine!

As a Brand Ambassador, you will be crucial in bringing our client's activation to life. Your responsibilities will include:

• Engaging with Fans: Deliver key messaging in a fun, polished, and exciting way.
• Hosting Giveaways: Help with prize wheels, photo ops, and interactive elements.
• Game Show Fun: Assist in running and hyping up a gameshow experience.
• Photo Moments: Encourage and coordinate memorable guest photos.
• Surveys: Assist attendees with completing a quick iPad survey.
• Traffic Control: Keep lines organized and ensure a smooth guest flow.

We are looking for individuals who are:

• Outgoing & Polished: Confident communicators who love interacting with crowds.
• Reliable: Dependable and on-time — every time.
• Passionate: Bonus points if you love comics, anime, cosplay, or gaming culture.
• Great Communicator: Able to memorize and deliver talk tracks naturally.
• High Energy: Keep the crowd excited and engaged throughout the day.

Event Details:

• Dates: Thursday, October 9 – Sunday, October 11
• Shifts:
  • Thursday: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM
  • Friday: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM
  • Saturday: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM
  • Sunday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Preference will be given to candidates available all four days!

New York Comic Con is the ultimate playground for fans of comics, anime, manga, graphic novels, movies, and gaming. It’s a massive celebration of creativity, fandom, and unforgettable experiences — and we need YOU to help make it even more epic!

Pay & Perks:

• Dress Code: Black slacks or skirt (AGAR provides branded white button-up shirt + neck scarf)
• Payment: Bi-weekly via E-check
• Position Type: 1099 Independent Contractor

Additional Info:

• Training: Mandatory 30–45 min Zoom session before the event
