HS Brands Bar Evaluation

HS Brands Global is seeking a Bar Standards Evaluator to confidentially assess bar operations. This role offers $30 compensation per evaluation, plus reimbursement of up to $50 for solo dining or $100 when dining with a guest to cover expenses.

This is a flexible opportunity with evaluations lasting a minimum of one hour. Evaluators will be assigned to various locations and will need to complete their assignments between Friday, December 12th, and Wednesday, December 31st.

Job Overview:

As a Bar Standards Evaluator, you will go undercover to evaluate bar operations, customer service, and ID compliance. Your discreet observations are crucial for maintaining high standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Spend a minimum of one hour observing bartenders and overall bar operations, including cash handling, credit card procedures, tips, and bar tabs.
• Watch for signs of theft, fraud, or suspicious behavior from staff, noting how transactions are handled and interactions with off-duty employees and regular customers.
• Discreetly observe how different guest transactions are managed and whether bartenders attempt to upsell premium spirits.
• Order one alcoholic beverage (must contain alcohol, no mocktails) and food from the menu.

Requirements:

• Must be between 21 and 35 years old.
• Comfortable sitting or standing in the bar area until a spot becomes available.
• Maintain discretion and limit alcoholic consumption to no more than two drinks during the observation period.
• Pay in cash and include a cash tip unless otherwise approved or requested.
• Obtain the final payment receipt, ensuring it shows the payment type and tip.
