About This Role
Are you a highly energetic individual who thrives in social settings and enjoys engaging with people? We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable Brand Ambassadors and a Team Lead to join our promotional team for an exciting series of nightlife activations in Halifax.
Each team and shift will consist of one team lead and two brand ambassadors. The activations will take place at various 19+ venues throughout Halifax.
Available Shifts:
- Friday, December 12th: 9:00 PM - 1:00 AM or 10:00 PM - 2:00 AM
- Saturday, December 13th: 9:00 PM - 1:00 AM or 10:00 PM - 2:00 AM
- Friday, December 19th: 9:00 PM - 1:00 AM or 10:00 PM - 2:00 AM
- Saturday, December 20th: 9:00 PM - 1:00 AM or 10:00 PM - 2:00 AM
Responsibilities:
- Confidently engage with guests in bar and nightlife environments.
- Conduct brief tobacco use-related surveys using iPads.
- Distribute gift cards to participating guests.
- Team Leads will submit post-event reports and will be compensated for an additional hour for this duty.
A mandatory training session will be conducted in advance of the events, with details to be confirmed.
Compensation:
- Brand Ambassadors: $25/hour
- Team Lead: $30/hour
- Bonus: Earn an additional $40 bonus for hitting shift goals on every shift.
A branded shirt will be provided; team members are required to wear their own black bottoms and black shoes.
We are looking for individuals who are:
- Friendly, outgoing, and comfortable approaching strangers.
- At ease working in late-night bar and club settings.
- Reliable and punctual team players.
- For the Team Lead role, candidates must be organized, demonstrate initiative, and be capable of managing onsite crew and materials.
