About This Role

Do you thrive in high-energy environments? Do you love connecting with people and being part of unforgettable nights out? We are seeking confident, outgoing, and reliable Brand Ambassadors and a Team Lead to join our promotional team for an exciting series of nightlife activations in St. John's. Each team will consist of one team lead and two brand ambassadors. This is a fantastic opportunity to engage with the local nightlife scene. Our activations will take place at various 19+ venues in St. John's on the following dates and times:
  • Fri, Dec 12: 9 PM - 1 AM or 10 PM - 2 AM
  • Sat, Dec 12: 9 PM - 1 AM or 10 PM - 2 AM
  • Fri, Dec 19: 9 PM - 1 AM or 10 PM - 2 AM
  • Sat, Dec 20: 9 PM - 1 AM or 10 PM - 2 AM
As a Brand Ambassador or Team Lead, you will:
  • Engage bar and nightlife guests with confidence and a friendly demeanor.
  • Utilize iPads to conduct brief, tobacco use-related surveys.
  • Distribute gift cards to participating guests as a token of appreciation.
Ahead of these events, a mandatory training session will be conducted (details to be confirmed). For Team Leads, additional responsibilities include:
  • Submitting post-event reports summarizing key activities and outcomes.
  • An additional 1 hour of pay will be provided for post-event reporting duties.
We offer competitive compensation and an attractive bonus structure:
  • Brand Ambassadors: $25/hour
  • Team Lead: $30/hour
  • Bonus: Achieve your shift goal and earn an additional $40 bonus per shift!
A branded shirt will be provided as part of your uniform; please wear your own black bottoms and black shoes. We are looking for individuals who are:
  • Friendly, outgoing, and comfortable approaching new people in a social setting.
  • Comfortable working in late-night bar and club environments.
  • Reliable, punctual, and excellent team players.
A Team Lead must additionally be organized, proactive, and capable of managing the onsite crew and materials effectively.
