HS Brands Global is seeking an Alcohol Compliance Auditor.
This role is based at 1800 Argyle Street, Halifax, Nova Scotia, B3J 3N8. The project is anticipated to run from Wednesday, December 10th to Wednesday, December 31st.
As an Alcohol Compliance Auditor, your main objective is to verify that concession staff adhere to all proper alcohol service policies, including strict ID verification and established drink purchase limits. This entails conducting controlled test purchases, meticulously documenting employee behavior and appearance within the Presto Shopper app, and reporting any observed violations to management in real-time. This position demands exceptional attention to detail, a high level of professionalism, and accurate reporting.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Attending assigned events and conducting audits at various points of sale as per provided instructions.
- Attempting to purchase beer to confirm vendor ID verification and compliance with serving limits.
- Entering evaluation data into the Presto Shopper app using a unique Presto code.
- Recording detailed notes on employee appearance, including name, clothing, race, height, and other distinguishing features.
- Taking clear photographs of all receipts for purchases, including beer and reimbursed parking/transportation.
- Completing all assigned evaluations, contingent on stand availability.
- Maintaining discretion throughout all interactions.
- Immediately communicating any observed violations to the General Manager.
- Checking out with the General Manager and obtaining a signature approval for all completed evaluations.
- Being available for follow-up questions for up to 72 hours post-event.
The compensation for this role is $90 for 10 stands, with payment issued two weeks after successful project completion. Parking and rideshare expenses are reimbursed up to $25 with a valid receipt.
The estimated duration for this role is approximately 1-2 hours per assignment.
