About This Role

HS Brands Global is seeking an Alcohol Compliance Auditor in Washington, D.C.

Location: 601 F Street Northwest, Washington, District of Columbia, 20004
Project Dates: Thursday, December 11 – Wednesday, December 31

Compensation: $210 for 30 audits (payment issued two weeks after successful project completion)

Parking/Rideshare: Reimbursed up to $25 with a valid receipt

Estimated Duration: Approximately 2-3 hours per assignment

Requirements: Candidates must be between 21 and 28 years of age. A photo upload of your ID is required for verification.

As an Alcohol Compliance Auditor, your primary responsibility will be to ensure concession staff adhere to proper alcohol service policies, including ID verification and drink purchase limits at assigned events. This role involves conducting controlled test purchases, meticulously documenting employee behavior and appearance using the Presto Shopper app, and reporting any violations in real-time to management. This position demands strong attention to detail, professionalism, and accurate, timely reporting.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Attend the assigned event and conduct audits at various points of sale according to provided instructions.
  • Attempt to purchase beer to verify vendor compliance with ID checks and serving limit standards.
  • Enter evaluation data into the Presto Shopper app using a unique Presto code.
  • Record detailed notes regarding employee appearance, including name, clothing, race, height, and other descriptive features.
  • Capture clear photos of all receipts for purchases, encompassing both beer and parking/transportation.
  • Complete all assigned evaluations unless prevented by stand closures.
  • Maintain discretion throughout all interactions.
  • Immediately communicate any observed violations to the General Manager.
  • Check out with the General Manager and obtain signature approval for all completed evaluations.
  • Be available for follow-up questions for up to 72 hours post-event.

Special Notes:

  • The maximum allowable purchase for this assignment is $300, though reaching this limit is rare.
  • Auditors must not consume alcohol before, during, or after the assignment.
  • Auditors must not bring guests or attempt personal purchases beyond assignment requirements.
