Automotive Brand Detroit Auto Show

Gail & Rice, along with our sister company, G&R Connex, is seeking experienced and energetic local Brand Ambassadors to represent a premier automotive brand at the highly anticipated 2026 Detroit Auto Show. This is an exciting opportunity to engage with consumers and be part of a dynamic event. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about automotive brands and excel at consumer interaction.

The event will be held at Huntington Place, 1 Washington Blvd, Detroit, MI 48226.

Event Dates and Hours:

• Wednesday, January 14: 9:00 am - 7:00 pm
• Thursday, January 15: 9:00 am - 7:00 pm
• Friday, January 16: 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm
• Saturday, January 17: 10:00 am - 8:00 pm
• Sunday, January 18: 10:00 am - 8:00 pm
• Monday, January 19: 10:00 am - 8:00 pm
• Tuesday, January 20: 10:00 am - 8:00 pm
• Wednesday, January 21: 10:00 am - 8:00 pm
• Thursday, January 22: 10:00 am - 8:00 pm
• Friday, January 23: 10:00 am - 8:00 pm
• Saturday, January 24: 10:00 am - 8:00 pm
• Sunday, January 25: 10:00 am - 7:00 pm

Please note that hours may be subject to slight adjustment based on client and display needs. A 30-minute unpaid meal break will be provided daily.

Compensation:

• $27.00/hr.
• $25.00 per diem/day
• Up to $25.00 per day reimbursement for Uber/Lyft/Parking with detailed receipts submitted at the end of the event.

Wardrobe Requirements:
Staff will provide their own:

• Black dress pants (no leggings or yoga pants).
• Black shoes (Toms/Vans/Flats/etc. – no white toe Converse; shoes must be entirely black).

Female Staff: A very finished hair and makeup look is required, with nails manicured with nude polish.
Male Staff: Well-groomed head and facial hair is required.
Branded shirts will be provided on-site.

Key Responsibilities of the Brand Ambassador:

• Proactively engage with consumers.
• Assist with the registration of consumers for the Ride & Drive experience using hand-held devices.
• Conduct exit surveys.
• Participate in light set-up and tear-down of the display.
• Warmly welcome consumers into the display area.

Essential Requirements:

• Applicant MUST be available for ALL dates and times (no exceptions).
• Applicant MUST be at least 18 years old.
• Applicant MUST be able to stand for the duration of the shift.
• Applicant MUST arrive event ready.
• Proficiency to fully speak and understand English is required.
