Automotive Brand San Diego Activation

Gail & Rice, in conjunction with our sister company G&R Connex, is actively seeking experienced and enthusiastic Brand Ambassadors to represent an automotive brand at the 2025 San Diego Auto Show.

Brand Ambassadors will be responsible for proactively engaging with consumers, utilizing hand-held devices for lead generation, and encouraging interest in product information. All hired staff must maintain an engaging and outgoing demeanor throughout the event.

This temporary Brand Ambassador position offers a rate of $25.00/hour, plus a $25.00 per diem/day. Staff will receive a ½ hour paid meal break. An 8-hour minimum is paid, provided staff arrive on time and are not released early. Staff are onboarded and paid via direct deposit as W2 temporary employees, with overtime paid when applicable.

Reimbursements of up to $25.00 per day are available for Uber/Lyft/Parking, with detailed receipts required at the end of the event.

• Event: 2025 San Diego Auto Show
• Location: San Diego Convention Center - 111 W. Harbor Drive San Diego, CA 92101

The event dates and hours are:

• Thursday, January 1: Noon - 8:00 pm
• Friday, January 2: Noon - 8:00 pm
• Saturday, January 3: Noon - 8:00 pm
• Sunday, January 4: 10:00 am - 6:00 pm

Please note that hours are subject to slight variations based on venue requirements and display needs.

Regarding wardrobe, staff are required to wear their own:

• Black dress pants with black shoes (e.g., Toms, Vans, Flats). Leggings and capri pants are not permitted.
• No-show or dark-colored socks.

Female Staff: A very finished hair and make-up look is required, with manicured nails and nude polish.

Male Staff: Well-groomed head and facial hair is required.

Branded polo shirts will be provided on-site.

Key Requirements:

• Applicants MUST be available for ALL dates & times. No exceptions.
• Applicants MUST be at least 18 years old.
• Applicants MUST be able to stand for the duration of the shift.
• Applicants MUST arrive event ready.
• Ability to fully speak and understand English is required.
