About This Role

GMR Marketing is seeking a Transport Ambassador for an exciting temporary activation with one of the largest online retailers, Amazon, in Charleston, South Carolina. This role is crucial for assisting with the installation of graphics on Amazon delivery vehicles.

As a Transport Ambassador, you will be an essential part of the on-site team, working collaboratively to transport Amazon fleet vans from their home station to the install area and back. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring all vans are completed each night and will assist the Site Supervisor with auditing and completing necessary paperwork and recaps for the Field Manager.

This is a temporary position requiring open availability to work overnight (8:30 PM – 7:00 AM) at least 3-4 times Monday - Sunday. The activation is scheduled from Monday, January 19th, to Thursday, January 22nd.

Required Skills and Responsibilities:

  • Safely transport vans to and from designated locations; a valid driver's license is mandatory.
  • Return keys at the end of the shift to the designated drop location as specified by your manager.
  • Provide the Senior Lead and Field Manager with nightly updates, quality feedback, and recaps.
  • Accurately maintain completion reports and audits of program activity as assigned by the Senior Lead or Field Manager.
  • Work effectively within your team and maintain a professional demeanor on-site to foster strong relationships with vendors and clients.

Physical Requirements:

This role may involve physical activity including, but not limited to, long-distance walking and lifting <50 lbs. The employee is regularly required to sit, use hands to finger, handle, or touch objects or controls, and talk or hear. Frequently, the employee will be required to stand, walk, and reach above shoulders, kneel, stoop, or crouch. Specific abilities required include close vision, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted, and sitting for extended periods of time.
