About This Role

GMR Marketing is seeking a dedicated Activation, Field or BA Manager for a McCain food sampling tour in Greater Chicago. This dynamic role combines event management, vehicle operations, logistics, inventory management, and scheduling to deliver exceptional consumer experiences.

You will be responsible for driving a Food Truck or Sprinter Van with Trailer, overseeing event execution, and leading a team to ensure outstanding brand representation.

  • Tour & Event Execution: Manage food sampling activations, ensuring seamless operations, setup, and teardown. Train, supervise, and motivate Brand Ambassadors to maximize consumer engagement. Serve as the primary on-site contact for event organizers, retailers, and the public. Maintain compliance with brand standards, food safety protocols (SERV Safe), and Chicago regulations. Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Vehicle Operations & Logistics: Drive and maintain the Food Truck or Sprinter Van with Trailer, ensuring DOT compliance. Plan routes, coordinate supply pickups, and oversee inventory management. Troubleshoot mechanical and technical issues with event equipment.
  • Leadership & Communication: Lead and delegate tasks to on-site staff, ensuring high performance. Maintain regular communication with GMR HQ and complete event reports. Identify process improvements for better engagement and efficiency.
