About This Role

Gurnee, Illinois A+ Staffing is seeking a dedicated Merchandising Team to support category resets for a prominent nationwide convenience store chain across Illinois. We are looking for experienced reset merchandisers who are organized, reliable, and thrive in fast-paced environments. This project runs from January 12, 2026, to May 30, 2026. The pay rate is $21 per hour (W-2), paid weekly via direct deposit. Work hours are Monday through Friday, flexible between 7 AM and 7 PM, with early start times. Each store visit includes two shifts to complete two category resets, typically lasting 8–12 hours per day. This role involves recurring visits within a set territory across multiple stores in Illinois, with the potential for full-time hours. You will work as part of a team with one additional merchandiser. Responsibilities include:
  • Completing planogram resets (product placement, signage, adds/deletes, tagging)
  • Executing planogram resets, updates, and revisions across assigned stores
  • Re-merchandising end caps, feature areas, displays, and seasonal setups
  • Installing, adjusting, or resetting beams, steel structures, shelves, and store fixtures
  • Ensuring all product sets and displays follow retailer and vendor standards
  • Setting signage, labels, safety tags, and fixture components according to provided diagrams
  • Communicating with store leadership and team leads to confirm project requirements and completion
  • Completing daily reporting, including before/after photos and task documentation
  • Cleaning and prepping fixtures
  • Inspecting and stocking product, ensuring items are not damaged or expired
  • Remaining flexible to changing on-site needs
Requirements:
  • Prior experience in retail merchandising, store resets, or fixture installation is preferred
  • Ability to commit to the full project schedule
  • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to various store locations
  • Organized, fast-paced worker with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to read and execute detailed planograms accurately
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team
