About This Role

GMR Marketing is seeking a Set-up/Labor Help | Amazon Transport Ambassador in Hartford, Connecticut. This is a temporary, overnight position with open availability required at least 3-4 times a week, Monday through Sunday, from 8:30 PM to 7:00 AM. The assignment runs from Monday, January 5th to Wednesday, January 14th.

As a Transport Ambassador, you will be an essential part of the GMR team, representing one of the largest online retailers – Amazon. You will play a pivotal role in facilitating the installation of graphics on Amazon delivery vehicles by transporting Amazon fleet vans from their home station to the install area and back. You will work alongside your team members to ensure all vans are completed for the night and assist the Site Supervisor in auditing and completing necessary paperwork and recaps for the Field Manager.

Required Skills & Responsibilities:

  • Safely transport vans to and from designated locations.
  • Must have an active and valid driver's license.
  • Return keys at the end of the shift to the designated drop location as specified by your manager.
  • Provide the Senior Lead and the Field Manager with nightly updates, quality feedback, and recaps.
  • Accurately maintain completion reports and program activity audits as assigned by the Senior Lead or Field Manager.
  • Work effectively within your team and maintain professionalism on-site to foster a good relationship with vendors and clients.

Physical Requirements:

This role involves physical activity, including but not limited to long-distance walking and lifting less than 50 lbs. The employee is regularly required to sit, use hands to finger, handle, or touch objects or controls, and talk or hear. Frequently, the employee will be required to stand, walk, reach above shoulders, kneel, stoop, or crouch. Specific abilities required include close vision, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted, and sitting for extended periods of time.
