About This Role

A+ Staffing is seeking motivated and experienced Merchandising Teams to support crucial category resets for a major global convenience store chain. This is an excellent opportunity for organized and reliable merchandisers who thrive in fast-paced retail environments.

This project runs from January 12, 2026 – May 30, 2026, offering a competitive pay of $21/hour (W-2, paid weekly via direct deposit). Work will take place Monday through Friday, with flexible hours between 7 AM – 7 PM, including early start times. Each store visit will involve two shifts to complete two category resets, typically lasting 8–12 hours per day. This role will involve recurring visits within a set territory across multiple stores in Michigan, providing potential for full-time hours.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute comprehensive planogram resets, including product placement, signage, adds/deletes, and tagging.
  • Implement updates and revisions to planograms across assigned stores.
  • Re-merchandise end caps, feature areas, displays, and seasonal setups to optimize product visibility.
  • Install, adjust, or reset beams, steel structures, shelves, and various store fixtures.
  • Ensure all product sets and displays adhere to both retailer and vendor standards.
  • Accurately set signage, labels, safety tags, and fixture components according to provided diagrams.
  • Communicate effectively with store leadership and team leads to confirm project requirements and successful completion.
  • Complete daily reporting, including submission of before/after photos and detailed task documentation.
  • Clean and prepare fixtures for new merchandise.
  • Inspect and stock products, ensuring items are not damaged or expired.
  • Maintain flexibility to adapt to changing on-site needs and priorities.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in retail merchandising, store resets, or fixture installation is preferred.
  • Ability to commit to the full project schedule is essential.
  • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to various store locations within Michigan.
  • Highly organized with a capacity for fast-paced work and strong attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in reading and executing detailed planograms accurately.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Demonstrated strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Successful candidates will be required to complete a video interview.
