About This Role
We are seeking reliable and professional Backstage Operations Event Staff to join our team for a high-energy athletic sneaker brand activation. While this is not a customer-facing or Brand Ambassador role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth operation of the event behind the scenes.
As a Backup Crew Member, you will be responsible for moving product, restocking supplies, and supporting the overall event flow. Professionalism and enthusiasm are essential when communicating with peers, clients, and customers.
This is a guaranteed shift role; you must be on-site, in uniform, and ready to work. If a core team member is absent, you will be activated to work the full event shift, including extended hours if needed. This is not an on-call position.
Mandatory Training:
- Virtual: Tuesday, Oct 21 (Tentative: 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM)
- On-site: Wednesday, Oct 22 (Tentative: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM)
Guaranteed Backup Shifts:
- Thursday, Oct 23: 6:00 AM – 11:00 AM
- Friday, Oct 24: 11:30 AM – 3:30 PM
- Saturday, Oct 25: 10:30 AM – 1:30 PM
Possible Activated Shifts (if needed):
SHIFT ONE:
- Thursday, Oct 23: 6:00 AM – 7:30 PM
- Friday, Oct 24: 11:30 AM – 7:30 PM
- Saturday, Oct 25: 10:30 AM – 4:00 PM
SHIFT TWO:
- Thursday, October 23, 2025: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM
- Friday, October 24, 2025: 2:00 PM - 7:30 PM
- Saturday, October 25, 2025: 12:00 PM - 4:00 PM
Rotating Roles: You will rotate through multiple positions during your shift and be trained for various backstage roles, including:
- Loaders: Load shoe boxes into bins
- Carton Prep / Backstock: Open, sort, and organize inventory
- Runners: Transport product between zones
Responsibilities:
- Unpack and organize inventory using provided tools
- Sort and stage product by size/style
- Restock floor inventory as needed
- Lift and move boxes (up to 50 lbs.)
