About This Role

Market Recon is a leading shopper marketing and education company that helps brands build loyalty and drive conversion at the point of purchase. We are currently seeking Territory Sales & Marketing Representatives to support a mid-sized, market-leading CPG client. This full-time field role involves daily travel to retail stores across San Antonio, where you will be the face of the brand, building relationships, driving visibility, and increasing sales.

As a Territory Sales & Marketing Representative, you will be responsible for:

  • Conducting daily visits to approximately 20 retail stores (15-20 minute visits each)
  • Setting up and maintaining promotional materials (POSM/Displays)
  • Presenting, promoting, and selling products and promotions to store managers
  • Assisting with inventory tracking and re-ordering
  • Building strong relationships with store staff to drive engagement and sales
  • Executing promotional campaigns and achieving brand display objectives
  • Educating store teams on brand messaging and product knowledge
  • Utilizing mobile tools to track visits and performance
  • Acting as a passionate brand ambassador in the field

We offer a strong compensation package that includes:

  • Quarterly Bonus: Up to $1,000 based on performance
  • Monthly Car Allowance: $1,000
  • Cell Phone Allowance: $75/month
  • Benefits: 50% employer-paid after 3 months
  • Full-Time Schedule: Monday to Friday with flexible start times (8 hours/day with 7 AM to 9 AM start)
  • Mileage, iPad, and sales incentives
  • Opportunity for contract extension beyond 2025

We are looking for candidates who meet the following requirements:

  • 1+ year of experience in sales, merchandising, or brand promotions (B2B or B2C)
  • Strong selling and up-selling ability with excellent negotiation skills
  • Post-secondary education preferred (Marketing, Business, Communications)
  • Experience with grocery and retail chains is a strong asset
  • Tech-savvy and confident with digital tools, apps, and tablets
  • Professional communication skills in English (verbal & written)
  • Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently
  • Able to carry light promotional materials (under 10 lbs)
  • Valid Driver’s License, Clean Driving Record & Reliable Vehicle
