Leaf Home is seeking a driven and experienced Assistant Event Marketing Manager to join our team in Bismarck, North Dakota. This is a crucial role responsible for building brand awareness and generating sales leads through event-based marketing initiatives, with an expected duration from Monday, January 5th, on-going.
The Assistant Event Marketing Manager will lead a team of event marketers, overseeing their recruitment, hiring, training, and development. This role also involves identifying and securing direct-to-consumer events, managing budgets, resource planning, and ensuring successful event execution.
- Develop and drive event-based marketing initiatives to generate sales leads for sales representative follow-up.
- Identify, schedule, and plan the event calendar for a team of event marketers within the assigned territory.
- Responsible for budgeting and staffing for identified local events.
- Attend trade shows, home shows, fairs, festivals, and community events, and manage the event marketing team in generating new sales leads.
- Assist in distributing event marketing material and facilitating equipment set-up and tear-down.
- Collaborate with local Sales Operations and Installation Managers to grow brand presence within the local market.
- Recruit, hire, train, and develop Event Marketers, establishing accountability through defined goals and KPIs.
- Assist in the development of timelines, organizational plans, and internal communications for cohesiveness and transparency in the local market.
- Track and report event metrics to evaluate performance and ROI of events.
- Responsible for exceeding sales lead quotas based on established KPIs.
- Travel within the assigned territory as needed.
- Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Experience and Minimum Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree is preferred, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Experience within event marketing or a related field.
- Experience in lead generation and/or experiential marketing.
- Experience with limited/single market budgeting and planning across multiple markets.
- Knowledge of current best practices and new strategies for event marketing.
- Ability to work evenings and/or weekends for pre-scheduled events.
- Experience recruiting, onboarding, and training marketing and show staff.
- Ability to manage various work activities and prioritize tasks effectively to meet stakeholder demands.
