Position Summary:
The District Event Marketing Manager is responsible for the full lifecycle management of our Event Marketers within their designated district. This includes recruiting, hiring, training, developing, and managing the team to build brand awareness and successfully generate sales leads. Key responsibilities also involve resource planning, staff scheduling, and ensuring successful event execution.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute event-based marketing initiatives to generate sales leads for follow-up by sales representatives.
- Identify, schedule, and plan the event calendar for the Event Marketer team in the assigned district.
- Manage budgeting and staffing requirements for identified local events.
- Attend and oversee the event marketing team at trade shows, home shows, fairs, festivals, and community events to generate new sales leads.
- Manage the setup and tear-down of event marketing materials and equipment.
- Collaborate with local Operations and Installation Managers to enhance brand presence in the local market.
- Recruit, hire, train, and develop Event Marketers, establishing accountability through defined goals and KPIs.
- Develop timelines, organizational plans, and internal communications to ensure cohesiveness and transparency.
- Track and report event metrics to evaluate performance and return on investment (ROI) of events.
- Responsible for exceeding established sales lead quotas based on KPIs.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Experience and Minimum Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s Degree is preferred, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Two (2) or more years of experience in a managerial position.
- Strong skills in recruiting and training.
- Experience with large-scale budgeting and planning.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A self-starter with strong management abilities.
