About This Role

Leaf Home is seeking a talented and driven Activation, Field or BA Manager for our Roofing division in Waukesha, Wisconsin. This is a full-time, ongoing position starting Monday, December 8th.

The District Event Marketing Manager will be responsible for recruiting, hiring, training, developing, and managing a team of Event Marketers to build brand awareness and generate sales leads within their designated district. This role involves sourcing direct-to-consumer events, managing budgets, resource planning, staff schedules, and ensuring successful event execution.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and drive event-based marketing initiatives to generate sales leads for sales representative follow-up.
  • Identify, schedule, and plan the event calendar for the Event Marketer team in the assigned district.
  • Manage budgeting and staffing for identified local events.
  • Attend trade shows, home shows, fairs, festivals, and community events, and manage the event marketing team in generating new sales leads.
  • Oversee event marketing material and equipment setup and teardown.
  • Collaborate with local Operations and Installation Managers to grow brand presence within the local market.
  • Recruit, hire, train, and develop Event Marketers, establishing accountability through defined goals and KPIs.
  • Develop timelines, organizational plans, and internal communications for cohesiveness and transparency.
  • Track and report event metrics to evaluate performance and ROI.
  • Responsible for exceeding sales lead quotas based on established KPIs.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Experience and Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • 2+ years in a managerial position.
  • Strong recruiting and training skills.
  • Experience with large-scale budgeting and planning.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-starter with the ability to manage and develop others.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of current best practices and new strategies for event marketing.
  • Ability to work evenings and/or weekends for pre-scheduled events.
  • Ability to manage various work activities and adapt to the demands of different stakeholders.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, Abilities or Certifications:

  • Experience in lead generation and/or experiential marketing.
  • Previous management position(s) in Direct-to-Consumer marketing.
  • Experience in multi-unit management.
  • Previous experience in home improvement event marketing.

Travel Requirements:

  • More than 50% domestic travel required.

Overtime/Additional Hours Requirements:

  • Additional hours may be required (exempt positions).

Physical Requirements:

  • Normal office environment and field office/manufacturing/construction environment.
  • Performs indoor work in a climate-controlled environment.
