Windy City Mushroom In-Store Demo

Vibrance Marketing is seeking motivated, self-starter Brand Ambassadors to conduct in-store demonstrations for Windy City Mushroom (Fungitarian). This role involves promoting non-alcoholic beverages or food products within retail environments, with potential for future opportunities in your area. Weekend availability is required, though some weekday demos may be available. You must be willing to call stores to confirm inventory.Responsibilities and duties for this position include:

• Representing Windy City Mushroom (Fungitarian) with enthusiasm and professionalism.
• Learning product details thoroughly via the brand website and provided training materials.
• Setting up and maintaining a clean and inviting demo area.
• Keeping samples at appropriate temperatures (cool or room temperature) using correct storage tools.
• Sampling products, educating customers on ingredients and health benefits, and effectively driving sales.
• Tracking inventory, tidying shelves, and ensuring products are faced correctly.
• Submitting detailed and professional demo reports.
• Dressing appropriately according to brand guidelines.

Payment Terms:

• $30/hour (1099 contractor).
• Paid weekly via Bill.com.
• Friday payments, with reports due by Monday 9 AM EST.
• Incomplete reports or those sent back for revision may delay payment.
• No travel pay.
• Product reimbursements will be added to your paycheck.

This is a self-scheduling position. You are responsible for calling stores to confirm stock and set up your demos, unless a specific scheduling portal is required, which will be handled by Vibrance Marketing. Failure to schedule properly will result in an inability to execute the demo, nonpayment, and could impact future opportunities.Key requirements for this role include:

• Possession of your own table, a black fabric tablecloth, and an ice bucket or relevant display tools, depending on specific product needs.
• Ability to read and understand written directions thoroughly.
• Calling stores to confirm stock and self-schedule demos (unless a brand login is required).
• Strong responsiveness to emails.
• Familiarity with Promomash or a willingness to learn the platform.
• Demonstrating professionalism in writing demo reports.
• Having reliable transportation.
• Adhering to all food safety guidelines; a food handler permit may be required.
• Being self-motivated, independent, and proactive in your approach.
