Toronto Nightclubs NYE Event Host

We are seeking an outgoing and reliable Event Host or Hostess to join our team for a New Year's Eve event in Hamilton. As the first point of contact for guests, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a smooth and enjoyable entry experience.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival
• Efficiently scan tickets using the Eventbrite Organizer app (QR codes)
• Accurately mark guests with a stamp or wristband after successful check-in
• Direct guests seamlessly into the venue
• Answer basic guest inquiries and provide helpful guidance as needed
• Maintain clear and consistent communication with the on-site coordinator throughout your shift

Requirements:

• Must be 19+ years of age
• Possess strong communication and customer-service skills
• Be friendly, dependable, and punctual
• Comfortable managing guest flow and interactions
• Previous experience as a brand ambassador (BA), promoter, or event host is ideal
• Ability to plan ahead and arrive early, anticipating potential downtown traffic and delays on New Year's Eve

• This is a contract, part-time position
