Position Summary:

The Event Marketing Manager is responsible for recruiting, hiring, training, developing, and managing a team of Event Marketers. This role focuses on building brand awareness and generating sales leads within a designated district, including resource planning, staff scheduling, and successful event execution.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute event-based marketing initiatives to generate sales leads for sales representatives.
• Identify, schedule, and plan the event calendar for the Event Marketer team in the assigned district.
• Manage budgeting and staffing for identified local events.
• Attend trade shows, home shows, fairs, festivals, and community events, leading the event marketing team in generating new sales leads.
• Oversee event marketing material and equipment setup and tear down.
• Collaborate with local Operations and Installation Managers to enhance brand presence in the local market.
• Recruit, hire, train, and develop Event Marketers, establishing accountability through defined goals and KPIs.
• Create timelines, organizational plans, and internal communications to ensure cohesiveness and transparency.
• Track and report event metrics to evaluate performance and ROI.
• Responsible for exceeding sales lead quotas based on established KPIs.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Experience and Minimum Qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s Degree is preferred, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Two or more years in a managerial position.
• Strong recruiting and training skills.
• Experience with large-scale budgeting and planning.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• A self-starter with a proactive approach.
