Position Summary:

The District Event Marketing Manager is responsible for the full lifecycle management of an Event Marketer team. This includes recruiting, hiring, training, developing, and ongoing management, with the primary goal of building brand awareness and generating sales leads within the designated district. Key responsibilities also include resource planning, staff scheduling, and ensuring successful event execution.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute event-based marketing initiatives to generate sales leads for sales representatives.
  • Identify, schedule, and meticulously plan the event calendar for the Event Marketer team in the assigned district.
  • Manage budgeting and staffing for all identified local events.
  • Attend and oversee event marketing teams at trade shows, home shows, fairs, festivals, and community events to generate new sales leads.
  • Manage the setup and tear-down of all event marketing materials and equipment.
  • Collaborate strategically with local Operations and Installation Managers to expand brand presence within the local market.
  • Recruit, hire, train, and develop Event Marketers, establishing accountability through defined goals and KPIs.
  • Develop timelines, organizational plans, and internal communications to ensure cohesiveness and transparency across the organization.
  • Track and report event metrics to evaluate performance and ROI effectively.
  • Responsible for consistently exceeding sales lead quotas based on established KPIs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Experience and Minimum Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree is preferred, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • A minimum of two or more years of experience in a managerial position.
  • Proven strong recruiting and training skills.
  • Experience with large-scale budgeting and planning.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be a self-starter with strong management abilities.
