Position Summary:

The Event Marketing Manager is responsible for the full lifecycle management of an Event Marketer team. This includes recruiting, hiring, training, and developing team members to build brand awareness and generate sales leads within their designated district. Key responsibilities also involve resource planning, staff scheduling, and successful event execution.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute event-based marketing initiatives to generate sales leads for sales representatives.
  • Identify, schedule, and plan the event calendar for the Event Marketer team in the assigned district.
  • Manage budgeting and staffing for identified local events.
  • Attend and oversee Event Marketing teams at trade shows, home shows, fairs, festivals, and community events to generate new sales leads.
  • Manage the setup and tear-down of event marketing materials and equipment.
  • Collaborate with local Operations and Installation Managers to increase brand presence in the local market.
  • Recruit, hire, train, and develop Event Marketers, establishing accountability through defined goals and KPIs.
  • Develop timelines, organizational plans, and internal communications to ensure cohesiveness and transparency.
  • Track and report event metrics to evaluate performance and ROI.
  • Responsible for exceeding sales lead quotas based on established KPIs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Experience and Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Two or more years in a managerial position.
  • Strong recruiting and training skills.
  • Experience with large-scale budgeting and planning.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-starter with a proactive approach.

Responsibilities
