About This Role

Leaf Home is seeking a dynamic and experienced District Event Marketing Manager to join our team in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This is a crucial role responsible for driving brand awareness and generating sales leads through effective event marketing strategies. The position is on-going, starting Monday, January 5th. The District Event Marketing Manager will lead the recruitment, hiring, training, and development of a team of Event Marketers. Key responsibilities include sourcing direct-to-consumer events, managing budgets, resource planning, staff scheduling, and ensuring the successful execution of all event activities. Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement event-based marketing initiatives to generate sales leads for follow-up by sales representatives.
  • Identify, schedule, and meticulously plan the event calendar for the Event Marketing team within the assigned district.
  • Manage budgeting and staffing for all identified local events, ensuring optimal resource allocation.
  • Oversee and actively participate in trade shows, home shows, fairs, festivals, and community events, guiding the event marketing team in generating new sales leads.
  • Manage the setup and tear-down of all event marketing materials and equipment.
  • Collaborate closely with local Operations and Installation Managers to enhance brand presence within the local market.
  • Recruit, hire, train, and develop Event Marketers, establishing clear goals and KPIs to drive accountability and performance.
  • Develop timelines, organizational plans, and internal communications to ensure cohesiveness and transparency across the organization.
  • Track and report event metrics to thoroughly evaluate performance and the ROI of events.
  • Be responsible for exceeding sales lead quotas based on established KPIs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Experience and Minimum Qualifications: Individuals applying for this position should have a Bachelor's degree preferred, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. A minimum of 2+ years in a managerial position is required. Other essential qualifications include:

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, Abilities or Certifications:
  • Experience in lead generation and/or experiential marketing.
  • Previous management position(s) in Direct-to-Consumer marketing.
  • Experience in multi-unit management.
  • Previous experience in home improvement event marketing.
Travel Requirements: This position requires more than 50% domestic travel. Overtime/Additional Hours Requirements: Additional hours may be required for this exempt position. Physical Requirements: This role involves working in a normal office environment and a field office/manufacturing/construction environment. It includes indoor work in a climate-controlled environment.
