Activation, Field or BA Manager | Leaf Home Roofing-ERIE
Leaf Home is seeking a dynamic District Event Marketing Manager to join our team in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This ongoing position, starting Mon, Jan 05, is crucial for building brand awareness and generating sales leads within the designated district.
The District Event Marketing Manager will be responsible for recruiting, hiring, training, developing, and managing a team of Event Marketers. Key responsibilities also include sourcing direct-to-consumer events, managing budgets, resource planning, staff scheduling, and ensuring successful event execution.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include:
- Developing and driving event-based marketing initiatives to generate sales leads for sales representative follow-up.
- Identifying, scheduling, and planning the event calendar for the Event Marketer team in the assigned district.
- Budgeting and staffing for identified local events.
- Attending trade shows, home shows, fairs, festivals, and community events, and managing the event marketing team in generating new sales leads.
- Managing event marketing material and equipment set up and tear down.
- Collaborating with local Operations and Installation Managers to grow brand presence within the local market.
- Recruiting, hiring, training, and developing Event Marketers, and creating accountability through established Event Marketer goals and KPIs.
- Developing timelines, organizational plans, and internal communications for cohesiveness and transparency.
- Tracking and reporting event metrics to evaluate performance and ROI of events.
- Exceeding sales lead quotas based on established KPIs.
- Performing other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Experience and Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- 2+ years in a managerial position.
- Strong recruiting and training skills.
- Experience with large-scale budgeting and planning.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-starter with the ability to manage and develop others.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Strong planning and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of current best practices and new strategies for event marketing.
- Ability to work evenings and/or weekends and pre-scheduled events.
- Ability to manage various work activities and adapt to the demands of different stakeholders efficiently.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy, team-oriented environment with a "roll up your sleeves" and "win every day" mentality.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, Abilities or Certifications:
- Experience in lead generation and/or experiential marketing.
- Previous management position(s) in Direct-to-Consumer marketing.
- Experience in multi-unit management.
- Previous experience in home improvement event marketing.
Travel Requirements:
- More than 50% domestic travel required.
Overtime/Additional Hours Requirements:
- Additional hours may be required (exempt positions).
Physical Requirements:
Normal office environment and field office/manufacturing/construction environment.
