About This Role
Leaf Home is seeking a dynamic District Event Marketing Manager to join our team in Raleigh, North Carolina. This full-time, ongoing position, starting Monday, January 5th, is crucial for driving brand awareness and generating sales leads within the designated district.
The District Event Marketing Manager will be responsible for the full lifecycle of event marketing initiatives, including developing and driving strategies to generate sales leads for follow-up by sales representatives. This involves identifying, scheduling, and planning the event calendar for a team of Event Marketers. Key responsibilities include budgeting and staffing for local events, attending and managing event marketing teams at trade shows, home shows, fairs, festivals, and community events to generate new sales leads. The role also requires managing event marketing material and equipment setup and teardown.
Collaboration is key, as this role will work closely with local Operations and Installation Managers to grow Leaf Home's brand presence within the local market. A significant aspect of this position involves recruiting, hiring, training, and developing Event Marketers, establishing accountability through defined goals and KPIs. The manager will develop timelines, organizational plans, and internal communications to ensure cohesiveness and transparency across the organization. Tracking and reporting event metrics to evaluate performance and ROI is essential, with a clear focus on exceeding sales lead quotas based on established KPIs. Other duties may be assigned by the supervisor.

- A Bachelor's degree preferred, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- 2+ years in a managerial position.
- Strong recruiting and training skills.
- Experience with large-scale budgeting and planning.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A self-starter with the ability to manage and develop others.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Strong planning and organizational skills.

- Experience in lead generation and/or experiential marketing.
- Previous management position(s) in Direct-to-Consumer marketing.
- Experience in multi-unit management.
