Leaf Home is seeking a dedicated and dynamic District Event Marketing Manager to join our team in Renton, Washington. This is a crucial, ongoing role starting Monday, January 5th, focusing on building brand awareness and generating sales leads within a designated district. This position requires strong leadership in recruiting, hiring, training, and developing a team of Event Marketers, along with meticulous planning and execution of direct-to-consumer events.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement event-based marketing strategies to generate sales leads for sales representatives.
- Identify, schedule, and plan the event calendar for the Event Marketing team within the assigned district.
- Manage budgeting and staffing for local events.
- Oversee and participate in trade shows, home shows, fairs, festivals, and community events to generate new sales leads.
- Manage the setup and tear-down of event marketing materials and equipment.
- Collaborate with local Operations and Installation Managers to enhance brand presence in the market.
- Recruit, hire, train, and develop Event Marketers, establishing clear goals and KPIs for accountability.
- Develop timelines, organizational plans, and internal communications to ensure cohesiveness and transparency.
- Track and report event metrics to evaluate performance and ROI.
- Achieve and exceed sales lead quotas based on established KPIs.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Experience and Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree preferred, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- 2+ years in a managerial position.
- Strong recruiting and training skills.
- Experience with large-scale budgeting and planning.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-starter with the ability to manage and develop others effectively.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Strong planning and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of current best practices and new strategies in event marketing.
- Ability to work evenings and/or weekends, as well as pre-scheduled events.
- Ability to manage various work activities and shift focus to meet stakeholder demands without compromising quality.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, Abilities or Certifications:
- Experience in lead generation and/or experiential marketing.
- Previous management position(s) in Direct-to-Consumer marketing.
- Experience in multi-unit management.
- Previous experience in home improvement event marketing.
Travel Requirements:
More than 50% domestic travel required.
Overtime/Additional Hours Requirements:
Additional hours may be required (exempt positions).
Physical Requirements:
Normal office environment and field office/manufacturing/construction environment. Performs indoor work in a climate-controlled environment.
