Toronto Nightclubs NYE Host

Are you an outgoing and dependable individual with a passion for creating memorable experiences? We are seeking a reliable Event Host or Hostess to be the face of an exciting New Year's Eve event in the heart of Downtown Toronto.

As the first point of contact for guests, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a seamless and enjoyable entry to the event. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Greeting guests warmly upon their arrival
• Efficiently scanning tickets using the Eventbrite Organizer app (QR codes)
• Marking guests with a stamp or wristband after a successful check-in
• Directing guests clearly into the venue
• Providing basic information and guidance to guests as needed
• Maintaining clear and consistent communication with the on-site coordinator throughout your shift

Requirements:

• Must be 19 years of age or older
• Possess strong communication and customer-service skills
• Friendly, dependable, and punctual
• Comfortable managing guest flow and interacting with a diverse crowd
• Previous experience as a brand ambassador (BA), promoter, or event host is considered ideal
• Ability to plan ahead and arrive early, anticipating potential traffic and delays common in downtown Toronto on New Year's Eve

Details:

This is a contract, part-time position. Compensation is paid per event via e-transfer. There will be opportunities for future event staffing throughout the year.
